Hey!!!!

Okay! Wow! I haven't posted in forever! Well, let's see.... What's new? I just started middle school. I HATED the first day but it's gotten better :) But I think I know what made the first day horrible. I am going to a different middle school then three of my BFF's which is so upsetting! But I saw one of them today so it's all good..... not really :(

My summer was fun. I went to a lot of places including acting/singing/dancing camp which I LOVED! I got to meet Harry Shum from Glee! He was soooooo nice and funny.

I did other stuff but I have to go soooo BYE!

My Own World

One thing I love about writing is that I get to make up my own world, its secrets and history, what it looks like and what it's called. So, I have a question: "If the real world (Earth) was under your control and power, what would it be like?"

My world would be called Hullfishrena (hull-fish-ree-nuh). There would be no global warming and the rain would be bright purple and orange. There would be no such thing as money, but there would be a law that says you would have to have a job, that way we could still survive. You wouldn't have to buy an old house, but you would design it on a website then build it. There would be such things as moshlings. Moshlings are little creatures from a website called moshimonsters.com.

In my world, I would be an actress/writer/singer. I would have 20 pets and moshlings.

Brown

When I was in Cape Cod, my family and I drove over to Brown, the college I want to go to when I am older. I bought a sweatshirt from their shop and walked around their campus. We also walked around the city Brown was in. Seeing Brown and visiting Providence makes me want to go their even more because, to me, Brown is big, I like big places. When your in a big place you can't see the whole thing at once, you see something everyday, and everyday you learn something new.

July 17th

I am so excited for Saturday! That's my birthday. I have a countdown clock on my google homepage. For dinner we are going to the Tipsy pig in San Francisco.

Next Friday I will be going to Cape Cod (in Massachusetts) for two weeks so I won't be posting for a long time :(. I will try to post many times before then.

For some reason, my Saturdays are always filled up so I can't post that day. I am going to make my Writing Tip of the Week not on Saturday, but any time on the weekend.

That's probably the best part of 4th of July!

Names

My Writing Tip: Try to come up with unique names for your characters.

You need to do that so the reader won't get confused with names. If your characters names are Lavender, Lidia, and Lucille because all the L's make it hard for people to remember who is who.

You also don't want to have Rolf, Ace, and Brett because they are all single syllable names.

Since I am already talking about names, I will stay on the subject.
